now back that dumb **** up with some evidence. How and when did he duck Gamboa? Get a clue. When did Arena ever approach Golden Boy with a fight? you're stupid.

The scene has quotes from John's manager saying this information is false. He said they got offer from GBP for the fight, but they didn't take it. He said there is no way they would move out of a stacked division where all the money will be to go to an empty one.

too bad, would have been a good fight. If he fights Gamboa this year then it would be a good move to stay at 126

I dunno about "ducking" Gamboa. Gamboa and Juanma are setting up towards a confrontation with each other in the near future. Is John supposed to wait around for them? He could always come back down eventually, or Juanma/Gamboa could go up.

I really like this fight. Roberto Guerrero was Comeback of the Year for me and John really impressed me in the Juarez rematch on the PBF/JMM undercard with the exception of that leg-wobbling shot in the final minute.

I was hoping that one of the young studs like Gamboa or Juanma would eventually get a crack at him at 26. Guerrero at 30 is still an excellent match up none the less and I can't wait to see it.

Nevermind, John's team just denied the fight according to B-Scene.

Would have been a good match though.
