He was for a moment, in the 7th. Still clearly won the round.

Funny to think there is an MMA arm lock actually called a Kimura lock...

    Round 9

Hard swings by John, hooking and lunging with rights. Kimura is diving at him face first and tying up every five seconds, to RAUCOUS boos. Straight right, and an overhand from John. Dive. Clinch. Break. Dive. Clinch. Break. Headbutt? John warned. Or Kimura warned. Not clear. The ref was grumpy, that's all I know. BIG FLURRY BY JOHN!! Powerful uppercuts landing!! ONE POINT DOCKED FROM JOHN FOR ACCIDENTAL HEAD BUTTS!! He did get warned. Oh, wait. The announcers just said "low blow" in English. I guess the warning and deduction were for low blows. I didn't see 'em. They were scrapping in close, so I assumed it was butts. John was mixing in body shots, though. Some may have strayed low and not been picked up by the camera angle. JOHN IS INCENSED BY THE DEDUCTION!! Big combos, wisely head hunting!! Overhand rights! Kimura dives in and holds but John stiff-arms him back. Kimura keeps trying to hold, and keeps getting booed. Kimura starts a jab feint, but it's a ruse - he dives in and ties John up again.

    9-9

    89-81 John

I think the referee said low blows as well.

Low blow deduction? Don't really agree with the call, 9-9, almost 9-8 John. 89-80 John.

    Round 10

John is on the attack, working the 1-2 and uppercuts. Kimura is running and running. Kimura's hands are down, so whenever John is remotely close he's tagging him clean in the face. Kimura keeps diving in to grab when he's almost trapped on the ropes. Kimura has a bloody nose. Clinch. Break. Kimura hooks wildly at the body, his arm stretched out wide and low and his chin hanging up in the air. John advances on him with big swooping left hooks to the head and short chippy knock-knock combos to the body. 1-2 by John, ducked. Lead right by Kimura, countered by a HARD jab and overhand right!!

    10-9 John

    99-90 John
