Before the twin columns of flame, it was darkness w/ blue lights and smoke as he shadowboxed mysteriously in the entryway for a few minutes.

 

It was just too much, too early. :-(

 

It's an encouraging sign that we've graduated to six rounders. Maybe we're closer to the main event doubleheader than I thought?

Maybe just this and one more six-rounder and that'll be a wrap for the undercard?

 

Round 1

Nagashima leans over to his right and sticks his left jab high in Ma's face. Ma lifts his fists to block but then drops them when he comes stalking, bad habit already. Hard pecking jabs by Nagashima, forcing Ma to stop in his tracks and hoist that guard up every step or two. Nagashima tripling up the jab, not giving Ma time to think or set any offense. Nice steady work by Nagashima. Ma is the aggressor but so far hasn't landed a punch through two minutes. OOOOH, overhand right by Nagashima, thrown in a triangle-arm manner (elbow pointing at the ceiling) reminiscent of Grzegorz Proksa with his left. Nice hard right by Nagashima. Ma finally gets off an underhanded flurry to the body.
