This is going to work out beautifully, in conjunction with the card in Tokyo.

 

Actually it began close to forty minutes ago. They showed the first Dragon Fire Promotions graphic and "tale of the tape" pic of John & Vetyeka around 9am EST. It's been nothing but commercials and :blabla ever since.

 

Daud Yordan vs. Sipho Taliwe, 12 rounds @ lightweight

 

Nic Durandt. He is the best coach in Africa. I mostly associate him with being Silence Mabuza's trainer, but his roster includes Jeffrey Mathebula and countless others.

 

Round 1

Yordan is jabbing and stepping forward, pushing Taliwe into the ropes. Taliwe jabs up top, into Yordan's forearms, turning his shoulders in, getting into a rhythm while backing up and circling with Yordan hot on his heels. Yordan is picking off jabs and looking to swing in wrecking ball lefts to the body, missing as Taliwe steps aside. Yordan is pressing in, Taliwe showing a jab and then swatting with a wide left hook to get off the ropes. Right hand to the body by Yordan. Jabs up top by Taliwe, coming up short. Yordan squats and jabs the belly. Right hand up top by Taliwe, blocked. Another, blocked. Body combo by Yordan. Taliwe is pushed into a corner, jabbing into the air.

Round 2

Yordan is landing his jab up over Taliwe's gloves and putting together several under-reaching body shots at once. Taliwe is backing up to the ropes and sticking his jab, looking to flurry when Yordan moves in on him. Yordan is staying tall, guard up, only throwing jabs and body shots and not giving Taliwe many spots to counter. The RCTI picture went kaput in the last twenty seconds (but audio feed remained intact) - back in time for commercial. :roll:

Round 3

Yordan is bullying Taliwe into the corner, throwing jabs and hooks at the head and then ripping the body with looping combos. Taliwe backs up, ducking and rolling, tossing out straight left jabs. WILD uppercut by Taliwe, windmilling his arm out behind himself and telegraphing it before throwing - perhaps meant to amp himself up more than expecting to land it. Yordan is pecking away with the jab, walking Taliwe down and whipping in underhanded body combos. Taliwe holds. Break. Jabs and rights shot up from a crouch by Taliwe, going to head and body. Yordan is putting on the brakes and letting Taliwe pump the air, then moving in and smacking the body. Taliwe holds. Left hook on the ear by Yordan as Taliwe is slapping up top with a right.
