two big names. easily sellable in indonesia and credible in world terms. vic gets a shot at a world title in a bigger division that often age demands. john gets to fight a sellable big name fighter for his home crowd. make dollars in my eyes. thoughts?
dunno about that. vics a banger, and he could potentially mug john who is a very inactive fighter. vic has a punchers chance, he'll love the extra weight so he can be as strong as possible. his speed will be good at a heavier weight, hence he'll punch harder. vic needs a shot at something. john needs a big name on his resume. its a neat fit i recon.
John boxes his ears off. John is a crafty fighter, the only people who think his a bum don't watch his fight. He is terribly underrated in the general forums. John UD - 118-110 style
you are probably right. but its a good fight while it lasts. vic has a chance being a bomber, and the opportunity to not have to worry about weightwould make him stronger and better endurance. distance runners dont peak till about 35, so ive been told. two big names, not quite a superfight, but an interesting matchup for two well known fighters.
..haha..thinkin' the same thing..repyin' to different posters..:good ..i think Vic sure does have a punchers chance but that'll only play to John's strengths.. ..be a awesome fight to get John some local exposure..:deal
Hey mate, have a search on the general forums and read what some of the yanks and poms think of John. I read some people say he was gifted the win against JMM but i bet they only read on Boxrec it was fought in Indonesia. They didnt' watch the fight and how competitive it really was. I agree to an extent that he should have faced some of the bigger names at Feather but in no way shape or form is John a bum.
John would stop VIC no doubt about it, VIC style would suit John to a tee with VIC walking onto many of johns shots.
can john make it 10 years as champ? has anyone held one of the legit titles for 10 years? june 2014 will be 10 for him by the way. he claimed the interim in 9/2003.
Chris John beats Vic every day of the week . He is the naturally bigger guy , he is the better boxer , and probably even punches harder . Remember vic was a big puncher below bantam but not as strong when he was heavier . Throw in the fact that John is also younger than Vic and I would say this is one way traffic .
