2 fighters on the verge of becoming division gatekeepers were saved for one more fight.

Kermit Cintron and Rocky Juarez were given gift draws against better fighters, who out fought them and well deserving to keep their titles --

When will it end ... it was obvious that John won 8 rounds minimum in that fight.

Hell Juarez was busted up after the first round and getting alot of help from the ref.

That fight along with the Cintron vs Martinez fight was a complete joke.

    what do you guys think?

I was very impressed by John. He proved to me that he's the real deal and not an over hyped fighter. He controlled the center of the ring where he did an excellent job of dictating the action. Juarez showed a lot of heart but definitely benefited from a hometown judgment. Hope to see John again soon.

I hope to see John again soon as well ... Juarez is a joke and a bum ... he's living off the hype of the 2000 olympics something that he hasn't overcome as a pro.

You are a joke. Juarez is far from a joke or a bum.

I can't help but think a lot of judges give sympathy rounds early when a fight appears one sided and then it comes back and bites the should-be winner on the arse when the fight evens out later on.

I actually think the drawn result will work out well for John.

We all know he won the fight and copped the raw prawn.

I'm sure the North American networks & audiences will be prepared to bring him back & give him another go in a major fight.

I think it's great to see an Asian fighter leave the comforts of home & fight on the world stage.

For all intents and purposes this fight was a win for him. He still holds the title and is ready to take on whoever's next. How about Izzy Vazquez?

Come on you blokes from Showtime & Gary Shaw. Get on it.

    Juarez is NOT a bum.

He's not the most talented guy out there, but he tries his best. I found his efforts down the stretch most admirable, even if I had him losing the fight 113-115.

I was impressed with John, and did feel bad for him. He did get hosed, but in no way is Juarez a bum.

He's a very good fighter who's just a notch below some of the better fighters he's faced.

This draw isn't as hard to swallow as Martinez-Cintron, but John did win.

This is certainly an unambiguous visual.

I'm going to take this opportunity to also say: UP THE IRONS! :fire

Rocky started too late, but a draw was not so bad, he won the last two rounds, I thought he won five rounds. John kept his title, so a rematch would be interesting.

Juarez although not a bum he is a very limited fighter. John got the robbed in my opinion, and Juarez showed a hell of a heart on that fight.

yep i agree, no doubt chris john was robbed, but juarez no where near a bum. he had john in really bad shape towards the end of their fight and had rocky stepped it up alittle earlier he was on verge of a ko. john a very good fighter, but jmm beats him again in a rematch. yes jmm was robbed himself in a close fight, but jmm the clear winner

Both guys' stock go up...however what we should be saying is "Juarez's stock goes up even with the loss..."
