yeah but 1st time i saw him and i thought he was a hell of a fighter he should of got that W...he doesnt have great power but he puts together combos and is a non stop fighter..i would love to see him and rocky again in a netural sight
To add to what i said he looked really good for his first fight out of his home country most fighters get lost in the moment and get scared by the tv and the hype but he settled in great and seized the moment
Exactly..I dont watch that many post or pre fight interviews anyway..He might not have a style that will endear him to the general public, I think most who had already seen him thought this was the case anyway. But he is a good fighter, more than likely the best in his division right now and he continues to keep on not losing.. He truly is a very nice kid..he has been interviewed on ozzie radio once or twice and he tries real hard to speak english..he just is very humble which is his culture. Bring on John vs Gamboa.
Obviously (to some) his first language not being English will hinder him from being very expressive in interviews that are being broadcast to millions of viewers. Seems like a nice bloke to me and he is a superb boxer which is the most important thing to those who are actually interested in the sport.
I would love to see this fight but Gamboa needs to take a big step up in competition before he he is ready for a guy like John.
