Yeah Leben is easy to like. :good

 

I didn't really care for Leben during the TUFF season. I didn't care for the way he popped off at the mouth so much. I will say that his tenacity has slowly won me over. Leben always seems to be in exciting fights. Win or lose, he comes to fight and is always entertaining. And to give credit where credit is due, he is good on the mic.

 

...And tonight's fight was a good showing by Leben. He was in the process of getting picked apart by Legionarius. He kept pressing the action with his iron chin serving him well. Definitely the most entertaining fight of the night.

Im not a fan of him. He seems to have settled though of late.But his still too typical of the meathead mentality of some of the UFC`s younger fans who find him so endearing.

 

Can't stand Leben.

 

You always know that you are in for a fun fight when Leben is in there. I really respect the way that he has taken the fight game seriously now, and is getting himself into great shape. After TUF, he seemed like he was getting slower, and worse in every fight... then got mauled by Silva, tapped out in his next, and then he really has turned himself around.

 

Leben is still hanging on that second tier of 185ers outside of the elite but still good fighters, always brings it.

He should use his grappling a little more sometimes, hes not bad on the ground.

 

Is he the redhead crybaby from the ultimate fighter?

So does Tank, but difference is Tank doesn't whimper and boohoo when he loses.

 

Leben is the kind of fighter who just comes to "fight." He doesn't come to wrestle, or kickbox, or grapple. That dude just comes to brawl, and I love every minute of it. Between his chin, his Southpaw style, and his knockout power, he's able to putting a hurting on just about anyone. He's also not a fish out of water on the ground. After Silva dominated him, people thought Leben was a joke. But he's been on a streak since that loss and has proven that he's a great fighter. It's just Silva is ridiculously dominant.

To sum all that up, Leben is the kind of guy you pay to watch fight. His brawl with Terry Martin was a ****ing classic, and his fight last night was an absolute blast to watch. Leben is the kind of crazy mofo you'd love to go drinking with.
