Get rid of him UFC, he's not much more than a gate keeper and the UFC don't need the bad press.

Now if the UFC really cared about a clean sport Leben would be fired but this wont happen.

Isn't this exactly what Marquardt got booted for? Multiple failed drug tests. Plus, Leben has a history of legal problems outside of the promotion.

Hopefully, any increased exposure that the UFC gets will put a spotlight Dana's inconsistent and often irrational manner of meting out punishment to fighters.

I get why he didn't fire Leben, and I get why he fired Marquardt, considering he dropped the UFC in the **** after he pulled out days before what was a mediocre card to begin with. And Leben has, I suppose, a bigger fanbase, always puts on exciting fights and this is down to painkillers.

That said, even someone who has a Chris Leben t-shirt would say he should be cut. Fair enough if UFC want to pay some form of rehab but he shouldn't be allowed to **** up so many times, whilst guys like Daley are just blackballed.

Daley was kicked out for hitting someone AFTER the bell rang while he was turned away. Not in the heat of the moment, he followed Kos' ass and tagged him. That's disgusting.

Marquardt got cut because he dropped out of the fight days before he was supposed to fight. Totally undependable.

You have a cluster of fighters that were given the chance to clean themselves up in Sherk and hell even Chael. Leben has always been dependable and entertaining, hence why he is given another chance.

Do I think he should get another chance? **** no, but I also think the guys like Sherk and Chael should be kicked as well.

    My 2 cents.

What Daley did was far FAR worse. That was nothing less than criminal assault on live TV under the UFC banner.

Leben has a history of ****ing up, but he has earned a lot of credit with the promotion. He has been a dependable guy for them for years now. He has a good fanbase. Even guys who don't like him don't mind seeing him on the card against anybody.

And don't forget that Leben himself has bailed the UFC out a couple of times with accepting fights on 2 weeks notice and things like that. This is one of the things he gets to spend that credit on.

    :hat
