Oh, definitely. There was a little spark there, a vague reminder of the young Wlad & what might have been. I give Wlad some credit for that performance, (some) but I'm not giddy with excitement for his next bout. It's possible that we'll see a different Wlad in his waning years, but I'm not holding my breath.

Most notably, Wlad got off the canvas vs. Peter I.

Unlike Lewis, who had somewhat chronic lack of desire (Rahman I anyone?) Wlad has never been shown to lack motivation in training. For Sanders, he was unprepared, but not unmotivated in training.

Povetkin straight up ducked Wlad twice. Sauerland were able to get a paper title for Povetkin & line up a couple of soft defences. He's earned good money & is now a mandatory & will get a better deal. I'm not defending Povetkin, or saying its a good thing he avoided Wlad but I can understand why it happened.

Povetkin is not the only fighter to have issues with K2 in negotiations. A long list of boxers have complained about K2 being greedy control freaks who are very difficult to deal with.

It looks like Wlad will be facing his 4th (relatively) weak opponent in a row & only one of those was a mandatory. K2 have to take some of the responsibilty for lack of quality in recent opposition.

Jennings is better than every guy willing to face Wlad, bar Malik Scott who is tied up with the Glazkov fight.

No offense but, are you serious? Rahman was a big puncher who caught him on the button when he was against the ropes and you could clearly see Lewis' eyes rolled back into his head when he was on the canvas. Desire had nothing to do with it.

Malik Scott has not the power to trouble Wladimir! So he has to outbox him and i really doubt that he can do it because again in the Heavyweight divison a fighter needs power in order to impress his opponent.

You don't remember the whole Ocean's 11 filming? Not going to train until 2 weeks before the fight. I am not questioning his motivation inside the ring, just outside it. He was caught by a huge punch, but the right question is why was he caught in the first place. I maintain that if the Lewis from Rahman II had shown up for Rahman I he would not have even got caught. You are telling me that the Lewis from Rahman II was identical to Rahman I?

We can agree to disagree, but my original comment was in reply to energie/Anon whatever his alt is this week saying that Wladimir at 37 is going to lose motivation to train like Lewis did at 37. Lewis at 37 was ready and looking forward to being out of the fight game. Wladimir does not seem like that at all. When has he EVER in his entire career not been in peak physical shape? He looked just as good against Wach as he did against Brewster II.

Let's get the Jennings fight signed and sealed please. Enough with talking.

So Povetkin got 3.2 and 4 million offers and said no? what is he expecting to be paid?

Sauerland bid much lower the K2 in the past two purse bids they had between them for this fight. Also, this time Povetkin is entitled to 25% of the money, instead of the 30% he got the other times.

I bet he does not get a 4 million payday from purse bid. It represents a total purse of 16 million for the fighters, which is what the fight should generate in reality if promoted by K2.

I don't remember exactly, but I believe K2 won the past ones at 12.1 and 9.4million.

Povetkin is just scared to fight Wladimir... he could not handel a fighter like Huck! I see no way Povetkin is winning a fight against Wladimir. Wladimir is just too big, too strong and too fast!

Bull****. Provide proof that Povektin ducked. If the fault is on his end for the fight not happening the WBA will take away his title.

it was in an interview form ******scene. Wlad said: "Povetkin was offered 3.2 million on the first fight and even more, 4 million for the second fight"

I didnt mean povetkin is ducking right now, BUT IMO K2 has every right to be nervous that Povetkin will pull some **** since he has pulled out twice already:deal

I understand you are a troll but at least troll about something that is semi legit..........
