Are yo referring to the fights where he bailed out on the pressers or the fight thats meant to be happening in the summer? I think its highly unlikely he duck the fight when Mayer , Hunrov and Kalle are all chomping at the bait to make the fight happen.

maybe I wasnt clear in my first post. my fault...

the 3.2 million was the first fight where Povetkin pulled out because he "tripped on a tree root running in the forrest"..... and the second fight for 4 million no one from Team Povetkin showed up to the presser eventually canceling the signed contract:deal:good

And Atlas was the other reason he pulled out the second time. He didn't want him losing while he was under his tutelage, pride issue probably. That being said there is nothing to suggest AP is ducking since he signed a new contract in 2011.

I cant understand why people want to see Wladimir against Povetkin.... Povetkin has no real chance against Wladimir. He got a lucky Victory against Huck going almost KO against him. And Huck is not even the best Cruiserweight! Povetkin can pull of good combinations and has pretty fast hands. But his body movement is not fast enough to get inside Wladimir... Even Haye was not abel to do so.

Is Jennings now going to expect 4 million for this fight? In some ways that could be a bargain, Fury wanted like 10 million.

Pretty big purses for indentured(sp) servant contracts. LOL

  7. Good post. We are not insulting Lewis by saying Lewis sometimes showed lack of desire outside the ring. He did. He is a great champion but he showed zero motivation to train leading up to Rahman I and everyone around him knew it. He had zero desire after Tyson as well and even slacked off in preparation against Mercer. He did not train at all for Rahman I or Vitali. Just slacked off and got fat.
A fully focused Lewis will be undefeated and will have a serious argument for being top 2 heavyweight ALL Time.
Wladimir on the other hand is 100% fully motivated and 100% fully prepared in every single fight.

Wladimir was 100% ready for Purrity, Sanders, and Brewster.. he just lost but it was not because he wasn't prepared.. He was. He is always prepared and always trained. Purrity-Sanders-Brewster took out a fully focused 100% ready Wladimir. Wlad's always ready. This is one of his greatest greatest asset. His dedication.

You named fighter to NOT fight. My question was who TO fight? Other than Povetkin (who will be outclassed anyway) who would be the opponents in these fights? BTW, Povetkin is one guy, not multiple fights like you suggested. So please, some names you think would give them a good fight. And please try and find fighters from that are active and from Earth.

Jennings (not as good and hasn't accomplished as much obviously) reminds me of Holyfield in a lot of ways.

Take a look at Vitali running away like a ducker from Haye
