Didn’t he say that Charlo vs Andrade was the biggest, most important fight that could be made in all of a boxing?
I would love him as a crank, this was him being a crank and it was cringy but at least there was some spirit in it. It's the relentless mediocrity that I can't stand.
I was thinking more about this, and I honestly don’t believe that Charlo vs Andrade would be in the Top 10 list for the best fights that could be made right now. Even here in the U.S., neither guy is all that popular, although Charlo certainly has the larger fan base. Neither guy has ever fought anyone elite, so I think the best thing about this fight would be seeing both fighters step up their level of competition, and we’d of course get two belts unified. I’m sure it would be a PPV event, but I doubt the buys would be that high…certainly nowhere near what a fight like Usyk vs Fury or Spence vs Crawford would do.
Chris Mannix is a very poor commentator, I wish DAZN would replace him with someone more intelligent.
