van Heerden is coming forward and flicking the southpaw jab out sidelong from his chest. Hatton squats and flurries to the body, then shuffles out and circles. Nice left hook to the body by Hatton as van Heerden reaches out to grab him by the shoulders and hold him in place. Uppercut by van Heerden and he presses in chest to chest with Hatton, smothering him on the ropes. van Heerden is warned by the ref to not elbow Hatton in the face up close. 1-2 by van Heerden, caught on the forearms and leading to another clinch. Hatton jumps outside and cocks the hammer on his right hand, driving it through hard but missing over van Heerden's left shoulder and getting pulled into a clinch. Pretty messy. van Heerden is smiling at Hatton from the outside and flicking the right jab into his face. Right hand to the body by Hatton lunging in with his left knee bent.
