Arreola has wins over absolutely no one, but leave it to the geniuses at ESB to pick him to beat Povetkin who already has wins over Byrd and Chambers.

 

Povetkin had an off night, one in which he was both sick and overconfident, and still won by scores of 117-111 to 118-110 on the cards of virtually everyone in press row. The Povetkin that used angles against Byrd and Donald, who can also throw over 900 punches a fight with the third highest KO percentage amongst top ten heavies, would destroy Arreola.

 

Personally? You'll do yourself a service by just telling them to **** off and leaving it at that.:good

I'm disappointed, you still dont give Chambers respect. Povetkin wasnt fighting BYRD or DONALD It actually kind of insults Povetkins effort:-(

By the way I was the guy loudly supporting Lubos Suda and kissing him on his cheek after he had officially lost to Enad Licina on the undercard of Povetkin vs Chambers.

 

Chris Arreola is the next great protected Joe Mesi. I've seen him fight in person and oh my god he is horrible.

Save the excuses, Chambers ability was EVIDENT! The majority of criticism and comparisons were WAY OFF THE MARK. Most acknowledged afterwards that Chambers is a quality fighter, INCLUDING POVETKIN. Like I said, excuses only taint the WIN.

I believe he was sick, I mean he looked LIKE DEATH in the corner nearly every round. I credit Povetkin for still having the durability and WILL to get the win.

Chambers out boxed and let one slip away. No shame in it, more work to do, I still think that he COULD be a Champion if he turns it up another notch in activity. He had Povetkin and while Povetkin adjusted some, Chambers still landed 50% of his shots.

 

I am not discrediting Eddie. I think Eddie is a damn good fighter, very talented and skilled. He didn't let anything slip away though, Povetkin put in consistent body work from the first round on and that is what made Eddie tire out. Eddie hits harder than given credit for, and is a tricky boxer, but Povetkin was also not as his best. I thought both guys performed admirably, and both are great ambassadors for the sport.
