    I think Costa will win.I sen a lot,from him,what makes me think like that.He have a good jab,god power,and seems to have good chin.He will be heavier man in the ring,but skill will be the most important thing in this fight.Hammer will be faster man,but his chin isn't that strong.Costa will be taller man,that will grant him good opportunities to hit him with jab.Chin will help to drive hammer in deep waters.His tight guard and fight tall style will negate Hammer style of fighting.Only concern I have about this fight is stamina of Costa,if Costa weighs between 250-260,than he will get slower above sixth round.And that will be roblem,because Hammer is lighter.And Hamerr's work rate will not make the difference,because I think Costa will suck up all punishment in the first rounds from Hammer,to later stun him sveral times and finally knock him out.Hammer is covering up now more but he still has the concentration lapses,which always plays part in his defeats.

    I think Costa will win by ko.Hammer hasn't the best chin around.

    P.S.If it goes to decision Hammer wins,I think.

    Hammer is improved but not by much.He is not complete fighter yet.

    Larsen/Johnson/Airich.

    That's a good enough run to put anyone in a HW top 15 right now.

    Granted, before that, when his biggest scalp was shot Danny Williams, he didn't belong in a top 50, let alone 15 - but after that run he does.

    Hammer is kind of a h2h enigma.

    On the one hand there are valid excuses for his two stoppage losses (a shoulder injury cutting short his pro debut, and then giving up massive size - 1.5 stone and half a foot - and pro experience to Wach...and still was getting the best of it and possibly en route to outpointing Wach before he succumbed to a one-hit KO, while very green...) - but on the other, even in some of his recent victories, he does carry the air of fragility and isn't really slick enough to avoid getting touched...instead relying on staying busy with flurries and high-blocking in a my-turn/your-turn pattern. In a curious inverse of his own loss to Wach, he was actually getting shut out by Larsen on my card through five before turning it around with a counter right hand knockdown in the 6th.

    A match-up I'd really like to see would he Christian Hammer vs. Ondrej Pala, since they are about the same level and have similar strengths and also some ofthe same flaws holding them back from really ever foreseeably competing at the very top of the world scene.

    Let's see if he can get past the dangerous Brazilian first.

    I would be surprised if Hammer lost only, on the basis that the matchmaking is normally good in Germany and taking on a fighter like Costa who is largely unknown in a non title or forced fight all seems strange. Hammers people 'must' have done their job.
