Same body type, same type of wild swing, super durable, granite chin, he's like a turd that won't flush. Except he probably doesn't hit as hard.

No that’s a ridiculous comparison. Corrie Sanders had the same stance and size as Ortiz and had tons of power and handspeed. Hammer is a brick house.

No way, you are overrating Hammer. Sanders had very fast hands, he was a Southpaw and he had legit KO power.

Maybe they have the same body type but so what?

They don’t have the same body. Sanders was long and athletic, but carried extra weight later in his thirties.

From what I remember of Sanders, he was sporting a dad bod against Wlad Klitschko. But he wasn't as round as Hammer.

Hammer—6’2, 250–265, stumpy brick wall. Orthodox.

Sanders—6’4, 220–235, extremely quick hands and big power. Southpaw.

His name is Cristian Ciocan. If you want to call him Christian Hammer, you need to also be okay with me referring to ATG heavyweight Evander "The Real Deal" Shèngdì. :deal:

Absolutely true. Sanders threw some blistering combos and threw them with power. Easy man to hit, though. Not one to "overtrain", either.

Within reason body types and overall eye tests mean little-to-nothing in boxing...particularly at HW.

OK most people are missing the point of this thread... I guess U don't understand what the idiom "Poor mans version" means... here I can leave a definition for you, so you can learn something new:

    Definition of poor man's

1—used to refer to someone (such as a performer) who is like another person in some ways but not as talented or successful

Poor man's would indicate a similar style. They have completely different styles, as Sanders was a snake-like southpaw counterpuncher. I don't agree with the comparison.

Not a poor man's version OP; just a poor comparison in this instance but don't take it personally.

He's much closer to the black Corry Sanders honestly.
