Sloppy touch and go round. Molina shying away, posing at range, then diving in with overhand rights. Kean scooting in & out, pawing a feigned jab, and tying up when Molina comes hurtling in. Body jab by Kean. Leaping left hook by Kean. Another, and a right from Molina.

Round 5

Molina is standing and staring at Kean, who is taking rickety half-steps around him in the middle of the ring. Kean moves in with a jab and buzzes the very top of Molina's head with it. Both missing jabs like crazy. Molina grabbed and judo-flipped onto the canvas, another clinch gone awry with his legs just giving out. 1-1-2 through Molina's guard by Kean, then instead of following up and capitalizing he scoots in and hugs Molina's gut. Combo by Molina including a rabbit punch. Kean stumbles,

If this goes ten because they're both fighting like pussies I'm gonna be mad. This was supposed to be a guaranteed highlight reel murking (in either direction) to get us warmed up for the main event.

 

Round 6

Molina is plodding after Kean, who creates distance inch by inch until stepping all the way in with a lumpy jab. Commentators correctly calling him out, saying with his reach he could get the jab in without surrendering distance. He pays for it, eating a couple of Molina right hands, hurt. Kean steps outside. Dash-in left hooks by Kean, working better than the jousting jab because he's executing it quicker and coming from an angle Molina isn't seeing. Molina is wrestled onto the mat for a third time. Ref warns Kean sternly.

Round 7

Molina is hurt by a wild rabbit punch. Kean warned and Molina given a moment. Crowd booing the lull in action. Commentators incredulous that they're booing after a flagrant foul. Kean stuffing the jab into Molina's guard and then jumping inside with a quick hook. Molina shuffling away, nearly into the ropes. Molina walks into a jab, stunned, but scores a chopping right. They exchange hooks and both just narrowly miss. Heavy right by Kean. Molina hurt, backing up, caught with another, down and out. Facefirst in the corner - wait no, he tries getting up halfway into the count, leans back against the ropes, looking very shaky. Ref finally abandons the count nearly at ten.
