Guerrero probably won 4 of the first 5 rounds so I think even tho this fight has gotten very tricky late he doesn’t have to worry about losing tho a draw might be possible.

Gee, that was fast. That was 50 shades of bull**** from both the ref and the corner. Although he was hurt, so the ref didn't need to call time. His corner should have told him to take a knee.

Well, he landed that pull counter! What a finish by Guerrero as the corner steps in to save Messaou.
IMO it was a bit early, but it is what it is.

The Massoud corner was going to throw the towel when the ref stopped the fight
He must've been hurt badly by the looks of it, Guerrero was lucky cause it could've been a draw at the end

Honestly, I think Gerrero needed the stoppage here to get away with the W.

OK, upon watching the replay I have to agree with the stoppage. He was completely defenseless and Guerrero was landing everything.

Orobio is another big hitting Colombian. Brutal first round KO.

Meanwhile Messaoud showcased the tradition of France producing pugilists who have pillows for hands.

Man, Zsolt Osadan came into this fight with a record of 27-3-1, all 3 losses going the distance.
This loss must be rather demoralizing.

It's an indication of Orobio's power
Reminds me of Lucian bute when he was brought up

I swear Canada has magic soil or something. Everyone who fights out of there is a monstrous puncher.

Hyperbole, of course, but they do produce a lot of hard hitters.

It's the recruitment staff, they seek the most talented boxers
Plus they got GREAT trainers in Montreal guys like Marc Ramsey, Michele Moffa
Russ Anber who's a famous cutman now was a Super Great trainer from the Ring 83 boxing gym in Montreal back in the 80's, produced fighters like The Grant brothers, Otis and Howard, 96 olympian Hercules Kyvelos
Amateur legends like Ron Donaldson and Domenico D'Amico
Besides Las Vegas and London, Montreal has the best heritage in boxing
