He's still the same fighter after the two setbacks it would seem. limited crude headhunter with massive power. He made some improvements(see Jonathon Rice fight) for a brief period of time, but the inactivity and old habits got the better of him.

Your theory wasn't bad, and you may be right, but Makhumodv is just not good. However, when you got a big guy like him swinging for knockouts like a maniac he's going to have good success at a certain level and tremendous disappointment at a higher one (unless he catches someone)

Maybe heavyweights named Mac/Mak just are destined to hit hard and get beaten at higher levels (See also, Mac Foster)

Makh vs Joyce? Makh vs Browne? Makh vs. Wilder? Some fun fights can still be made with him. He did what he was supposed to tonight.

Stoppage was a bit quick - although Brown was unsteady, ref should have given him a chance.

That would've been dangerous for him
Brown did not complain about the stoppage either

He could have been so much better. He has the amateur pedigree and he knows how to box(at least better than what he's showed) against Jonathon Rice he actually used his jab and cut the ring off to break him down over time. He's flawed to be sure, but I think he could have been better had he been managed properly.

Like you said, he seemed to revert. He was the favorite I believe against Kabayel

You know the funny story about the "Just Bleed" guy? He was some office worker, and years later he was interviewed about the infamous clip. Turns out he had stopped watching UFC because it became too sanitized.

He really wanted to just see men beat the **** out of each other like in the R rates 80s action flicks.

It's that or Makh vs. Brown became a hug fest that went the distance.
