Yep, on the record it should always mention the injury during a tko freak incident. Like Hearns twisting his ankle vs Uriah Grant.

Ooft! Just caught this after getting up - had intended on staying up but couldn't force my eyes to keep open!

Great wee scrap! Although M'billi is explosive, he has a lot of flaws that even this shopworn Derev exposed at various points - and his turnaround in round 7 with only one arm showed how much pride Derv has - not too mention a great beard - M'billi caught him with some bombs that would have dropped many other 168lbers

Always love watching Derev, such a great technician he's had so many close decisions not go his way, I feel he deserves one last swansong fight, but a torn bicep at 38 might be hard to recover from

Labouring against a one armed fighter wasn't something that convinced me that Mbilli could beat the upper echelon of the division. Heck some of the lower ranked fighters in the top 10/15 could pull the victory against him. Mbilli is more or less the new version of David Lemieux. Very exciting, but limited technically.

Derevyanchenko was an absolutely warrior last night for fighting with one arm. Danny Williams and Andre Bishop would have been proud of him. :chuck:

I ended up with 97/95 Mbilli—Kid has speed but not ready for any top tier fighter and damn lucky ole boy caught that injury early on as this could of stopped his launch

SD is way too tough for his own good. Rozier handled this poorly. No reason for SD to have gone through the last two rounds. However, in the last round SD exposed some vulnerabilities of Mbilli. Mbilli is a strong, hard-hitting fighter and could take out anyone in the weight division if he connects but he clearly showed some vulnerabilities as the fight went on. I would like to see SD stop fighting. He has nothing to prove. He is going to potentially take serious damage if he continues to fight fighters at this level.

    99-91 mbilli

Won big but showed some great offensive skills but has limitations and flaws that will hamstring him at the highest level. He's wbc 1 but I don't think he's ready for Canelo

I don't normally complain about production and commentary but:

The split screen was terrible last night I don't mind if they want to turn off commentary and have the trainers get the audio but do we really need to see them. They constantly do replays while the fight is playing out and we miss some action they should do that during the commercial breaks we don't need audio on replays. Then in a crucial round where seemed like the fight might get stopped they had the wife cam. I don't care about that

I don't think Tim Bradley is very good commentator I've had my problems with him for a while I felt like he was better when he first started but normally I tuned him out and I'm glad that Mark has much less speaking time during the broadcast. I never really liked Joe even during the FNF days. The way they were begging for the fight to be stopped was so dramatic and annoying like Sergey was fine up until the 10th round his eyes were a little swollen but he never looked like he was on the verge of going down he slipped a few times when his legs seemed weakened or maybe the canvas was slick but there was no point in the fight until the 10th round where it seemed like the punches were really doing serious damage and he was anywhere near going down. I know a lot of Fighters have more heart than they should in a lot of instances and brain damage and injuries are invisible and plenty of Fighters who seem fine collapse but the way they were begging for the fight to be stopped was very annoying even my girlfriend who never watches boxing was like what are they being so dramatic about

Thank you! I despise the split screen showing highlights from the last round while the fight is ongoing!

Canelo won't fight Mbilli, he's too young, strong and hits hard. Ginger is looking for easier paydays than that

That's how I had it 98-92,,,,,Derevyanchenko's savvy, experience and guts enabled him to go the distance.

Don't Berlanga and Munguia fit that exact description too though? Why would he not fight Mbilli when he's highly ranked in all the orgs, is pretty limited, and has a style Canelo does pretty well against?

I thought that about Makh-Vianello too, but was disgusted how the referee kept allowing Makh to keep being pushed out by his pathetic corner with that terrible eye injury. The poor guy couldn't see,but only out of one eye, he also had that tic, shake of the head deal apparently trying to clear his sight.Poor guy never stood a chance Ref, Doctor & cornermen should have been fired

Yes! I can't stand the replays of what I already saw making it difficult to see what I haven't yet seen. So annoying.
