Gongora had Mbilli on ***** street, and I think Lester Martinez is a fair bit better than Gongora. Mbilli's a fun but flawed guy with a questionable chin and leaky defence. I think Martinez has the power and the craft to get to him.

I would, and plenty of money. Not only did Gongora have him ready to go, so did Derevyanchenko. Lester Martinez is a killer, with excellent accuracy, angles, combinations with superior power and chin. He's going to dismantle Mbilli, with counter punching, make him skittish and then walk him down and stop him.

Mbilli an absolute joke, still avoiding any top 10 fighters.

Right? They seem to have no idea what to do with him, besides wait for the Canelo payday, or the WBC belt to be vacated.

Mbilli made his mark back in 2022, and has now wasted his physical prime fighting nobodies and old guys.
Whats funny is that he has been paying WBC sanctioning fees since 2018, but the org could care less. It´s so bizarre too, because usually the Canadian guys get pushed into title fights as soon as possible.

if you compare him to Bute, or even Lemieux, then it gets rather sad really fast.

I got Martinez on this one. He's got damn good power and Mbilli is there to be hit for the most part. I'm gonna say T/KO somewhere in the mid rounds.

Fun fight, hope it gets made :ggg

Just remembered that this will also be on the Canelo vs Crawford undercard. Should be a helluva entertaining war. Definitely not going the distance.

Mbilli's oversized head should be an easy target, Martinez should take advantage of that...

Lived up to the expectations and didn’t disappoint. Absolute slugfest from start to finish and the draw was totally fair. A rematch should be in order.
