survived Ruslan and won a close, but clear decision against Ruslan, who would retire Berto and Mayfield on the same night!!! Then Christopher took Amir Iqbal Khan into deep, deep waters and made Khan look like doggy dung in what was supposed to be a showcase cherrypick!!!

lost to Victor Ortiz, Robert Guerrero, and was knocked out by an ultra shot, super faded Soto Karass!!!

:lol:He barely beat Steven Upsher. Algieri would box circles around him.

As far as Mayfoeld goes, Algieri dominated Taylor who.....beat Karim Mayfield.

Algieri would box Berto's head off.

Put him in there with either Ortiz or Berto. Both of them lose. People would then call them bums and not give Chris any credit.

The reality is, Chris is a B level boxer. Love or hate him. He is a tier above the elite, but he will sure as hell give anyone like Berto, Ortiz, Mayfield and the likes of Broner a tough fight.

    Credit where credit is due.

Aligieri isn't that good. B-level at best.

Floyd's just ****ing with you guys.. he's basically saying Manny fought a nobody.. and you all love him.. so maybe I should fight a nobody too.

It's funny. You idiots bought into it.

Berto's 2008-2010 is a better three year stretch than Algieri has and probably ever will. If one were listing the 10 best victories of their career, Berto would surely hold probably 8 of them.

Berto wins over Carlos Quintana, Juan Urango, Luis Collazo, Jan Zaveck, Josesito Lopez, Steve Forbes >>> Algieri wins over Ruslan Provodnikov, Emmanuel Taylor, Mike Arnaoutis, Bayan Jargal... plus when you delve further even Berto's remaining lesser wins including over Freddy Hernandez, Miguel Rodriguez, Michael Trabant, and Steve Chambers dwarf all of Algieri's career the Prov fight aside.

In 2015 comparing them is a better debate and my guess is that will be the angered response to my post. Thread doesn't exactly clarify that and certainly implies an angle at their whole career. That isn't questionable.

Berto has the much better career of the two. Superior resume overall.
