Colbert-Russell is an incredible fight. Which means we probably won’t get it.

Really? His rapid and accurate combos, his great footwork and educated jab not special? I don't think Colbert is great yet or anything but there's definitely something there, he doesn't have the best pop in his punches is all.

Fast hands and feet, but yeah, nothing to suggest anyone's p4p lists need editing soon.

Because he doesn't sit on them, because instead of taking away Nyambayar's right hand he's just running away from it and engaging only on terms that mean the Mongolian barely ever gets a chance to throw it.

Which is strategically sound...if you want to dance around and win a decision.

He punches hard enough and hits you with punches you don't see. This isn't a video game

Not overly impressed with Colbert. Tug not doing enough to make a fight out of it. Kudos to him for taking it on two weeks notice but he looks flat.

Look, Colbert is winning this fight wide, and he's a showbox fighter, but could the announcers make it at least a LITTLE less obvious their **** is shoved down his throat?

Yeah, same. Stepping in to replace Gamboa was a boss move, but ...this performance, very much not boss. Except a few sporadic outbursts.

May be the "safe" option as you said but it's definitely the right one cos Tug has pop. Colbert has looked very good here against what is admittedly someone he should beat being so undersized. I'm actually liking the creativity and uniqueness of his style, he's got a nice bag of tricks on him.

He's got athleticism, but his offense is fairly basic. Mostly the 1-2 and no bodyshots. He pulls back often and that can get him into trouble.

Tug actually found a few counters because he's predictable with the 1-2. On a number of occasions, he times the right hand right after the 1-2.

I don't think he's going to get very far with Steveson and Valdez in the division. I think Berchelt would beat him fairly easily.

Colbert has the goods and gives anyone at 130 hell and that includes Berchelt and Valdez and Shakur.
