Weights should be same day. This rehydration of 15-20 lbs is effective cheating.

You picked tug to beat Colbert, you were wrong about that and you'll be wrong about Berchelt to.

I don't know why any boxing fans would have a problem with people like me calling this out.. don't we want to find out who the best really are? Because we won't find it out if some fighters have a i.e a 20lb weight advantage over the other come fight night.. that's a significant advantage for that individual right from the get go..

You're selective on who you call out that's why. Benavidez is a huge 168 pounder but I didn't see you mention his name nor did I see you mention Beterbiev who's a big lhw. Usyk was massive for cw as well.

You said "marked" and did pick tug to beat him. With that said I'm just giving you a hard time relax.

The whole purpose of weight classes is to even the playing field and make for fair fights.
The day before weigh-ins were implemented as a safety measure. Now many are exploiting this and re-hydrating ridiculous amounts.
That in itself defeats the whole purpose of having weight classes and the day before weigh-in as well.

Hopkins still gets **** for being a weight bully. Yet he was at most 168 on fight night... at the age of 40.
Meanwhile Chavez Jr. reportedly put on 20lbs by the time he got into the ring. That is ridiculous.

When Pac fought Rios, they "dragged" Rios up in weight. By fight night Rios was 160lb in the ring. Wtf?
    What is the point?

I don't understand the problem. Guys historically have fought at the smallest weight class they can to maximize their physical advantages, so this is nothing new. It's asinine to suggest that someone who can safely make a given weight should forego that division and or else be perceived as a "weight bully." It's not just a boxing thing, either. Wrestlers kill themselves to make weight.

Mayweather won a title at 130. Hearns at 147. Pacquiao won a title at 112! Weight bullies??

Because each and every single pro boxer fight at the lowest possible weight class for which they can make the weight, barring a few who fight at higher weight classes for better opportunities. Unless you have prove that some are using PEDs to cut weight, all this “weight bully” crap is nothing but a way for agenda driven people to slam fighters they hate.

What an absolute load of drivel. This is not slamming fighters this is not giving credit where it is not due rather than worshipping men who are fighting guys they have minimal chances of losing against due to the weight advantage.

The matter of fact is none of you have any understanding of weighing even 5-10lbs heavier than your opponent on fight night. It is a very significant advantage. You can take punches better and you have more weight behind your punches. It can easily negate skill difference at this level. The advantages are quite obvious and most certainly outweighs the negative (hence why so many do it)

Many weight bully, and that does not justify it being valid or something that should he encouraged. These weight bullies beat on small opposition and essentially fraud the masses, then when they fight someone their own size they struggle or lose.. It seems you just want to give credit to fighters no matter what.. They're fooling you, the fighters + promotion

Unfortunately they will not do this.. Its not in the interest of boxing industry.. No weight bully hypejobs (there are a lot of these) = far less of the casual masses to fool = less revenue

Oh ****, I forgot. These “weight bullies” are allowed to weigh in 24 hours prior to the fight when their opponents are forced to do so in the morning of the fight. Because that’s what an uneven playing field means, right? Fighters being forced to follow different sets of rules while competing against each other.

Let me repeat, do you have any proof that any of these “weight bullies” are using illegal drugs or doing anything illegal whatsoever to make weight? If not, you’re just a troll talking out of his ass.

First of all, you clearly just don't get it.

And secondly, I didn't mention drugs I'm talking about the actual size difference you helmet. Although I'd be shocked if there wasn't drugs involved..

In summary, you're a naive fangirl who takes everything promoters throw at them. Keep bowing you mindless sheep
