CE failed to make 190 for the rematch and had to jump rope in front of a heater and strip completely.

What I am getting at, is on here you see Eubank's name on the long list of fighters Roy "ducked"...

Isn't it fair to say, that both fighters were aware of each other and had great respect for one another, but neither never really pursued the fight? Eubank has said on more than one occasion he didn't go after Roy, and was glad he didn't.

What if RJJ fought Eubank, Benn, and Collins?

    Hows it going Serge?:good

Do you remember what kinds of tests Eubank was subject to for that fight or even other fights?

I think the only sure way to bust a roider is random blood, and quite honestly don't put it past anyone.. I think they have been rampant in boxing for decades, and it is not just an American problem.

I also remember reading that Nigel Benn once refused to be tested, but don't know how true it is.. Do you know anything about that?

I honestly think Benn has the best chance, but he could be knocked out quick just as well... Eubank-Jones would be a chess match that Roy would edge IMO, Collins would have rushed Jones and got picked apart on the ropes. I am talking prime Jones though, Collins' style would be perfect to beat post HW Jones.

Do you know what kinds of tests Eubank was subject to throughout his career? Particularly after getting whipped by a green Calzaghe, then looking like a wrecking machine at CW months later?

I am not accusing, just simply asking if he was tested and how?

Eubank was tough no doubt about it but Roy would have trashed him.
Toney would have played with him. Too much skill for Eubank.

he contradicts himself. he said not long ago on Ringside - Gloves are off (the super middleweights) he said fighting jones or toney back then would have been like suicide for him.
I know he talks out of his as$ but saying that was just stupid

    Hello mate, hope you're well?

I don't know what tests he was subjected to that fight, Bulldog is the man to ask about that seeing as he knows what colour underpants Eubank is going to be wearing before Eubank does. lol. But I should imagine it would probably have been the same standard testing that is carried out for every title fight from British to world over here.

I agree that random testing is the way to go. I do think PED abuse seems to be more rife in this sport in the US than it is over here though. But by the same token I also think it's more widespread everywhere than most realize too.

I vaguely remembering hearing that about Benn, but I don't know if there's any truth to it. I know a member of Gerald McClellan's family or team said they discovered 15 year old stale blood on one of McClellan's boots from the fight that allegedly contained traces of steroids on it, but it just seemed really far fetched and ridiculous.

But I'd be very, very disappointed if I found out it was true as Benn is one of my favourites.:good
