    Fantastic fight.
Both showed great heart, stamina and will. Benn was fast . I felt eubank just got it iat end in a close fight closer than 4 rounds probly 1 or 2. So much respect to both. Snr being there was wonderful.
The fight lived up to everything. Conor showed class post fight. Hope both guys get some rest now.

He's so wild with his throwing that any world level operator times and flattens him.

He's put on a lot of muscle. He'll roy jones himself if he tries to go down to 147. And he gets beat down by the champs at 154.

Eubanks is 35 and was drained tonight. Making it to 12 against him means nothing.

What should he have done to beat him. Use his longer leavers with his jab and keep Benn away. Hes never been able to do that so has had to rely on fighting over matched people. He has not very good boxing ability as you’ve just seen how hard he’s made it fighting a crude yet very game lad.

I knew that was all smoke and mirrors. I said in the other thread, notice how neither Sims nor Nigel claimed Conor even put Scull down. Nigel’s boasting was based on the fact that Scull stopped after 8 rounds and Scull’s promoter clarified that 8 rounds were all that was promised.

    Was honestly pathetic.

No way man. Eubank controlled the middle rounds then won the championship rounds on heart alone.

    He's the deserved winner.

Adam Booth absolutely right. It’s an entertainment business and they entertained. The gulf between the main event and the rest of the show with regards to the entertainment value was huge. I’d rather see this than a monotonous 12 rounder no matter the quality. I take my hat off because these two rich boys were hungry and it’s said all the time but they genuinely left it all in the ring.

A good fighter with boxing fundamentals and power would stop him at any weight. The way he lunches in leaves himself so open to uppercuts and left hooks.

In terms of raising his profile, yes, he's gained from tonight. Casuals will lap up a brawl.

But what we have also seen is that any half decent 147-154 wipes him out. Swinging wildly, a smart fresh fighter picks him to pieces. JR tonight was a shell of his former self, weak, slow and clearly drained.....and couldn't beat him

Adam Booth spot on, technically you could tear it apart but for entertainment is was worth it
