Great result for Beefy, but despite always thinking Smith would win , I thought it would be via a tough points decision, I can't help but wonder if the weight cut weakened Eubank (not to denigrate from the win), as I mentioned to the missus that Eubank looked oddly skinny.


Still, what a stalwart Smith is, really good old 'pro

 

Unlike the ungracious Smith corner celebrating like they'd won the World Cup, taunting various people in the front row, etc. I was hoping Liam would get done tonight just to see the scowl on Paul Jr's face.

Just looked at a normal speed replay. Looked to be a big right hand from Smith that first did the damage and had Eubank going in the corner. Can't tell without slowing it down but might of hit him on the side / towards back of the head.

The follow up hook and right were good shots.

 

Eubanks fannying around and it’s not even the lack of basic skills, it’s the sheer arrogance to refuse to fight properly is always going to catch him out at times.

The Smiths are horrible ****s though

 

Fundamentals and killer instinct won that fight. What a great event by Boxxer. Hopefully the year can continue like this.

 

I worry Chris won't get to land any power shots. It seems as if he can manage to get a jab or two in and then he prances about the ring before he repeats the cycle.

He's an expert at doing that. The miserable sour faced twat.

 

Good night all round, Beefy gets a great win, Eubank gets humbled again and Benn drops the bag and if he fights Eubank now it will never be as big as it was.

Fair play to Smith, didn’t think he had the power to knock out Eubank but he totally ****ed him up. I think Eubank should retire. Looks like he’s taken too many liberties with the weight class jumping. In hindsight operating at 168 and then going back to 160 (and agreeing to go below that) has probably had an effect on his punch resistance.

 

The whole reason they didn't fight is cos Benn failed two tests how the **** is that bellend piping up?

 

Needs to sack Roy Jones Jr.
