No, but we judge a chin by how it absorbs certain types of shots and from whom. Chris Junior has a good to very good chin, but I haven't seen evidence of a great one.

I didn't see it. He wasn't very impressive outside of the early knockdowns, but he got the result he needed to stay in the hunt for a big payday.

 

4 hurtful knockdowns and Williams face tells its own story. You don’t get the credit in this game for showing up. People wanted to award Williams points for being in there. Sorry it does not work like that. CEJ was by far the superior and could have stopped Williams but started clowning about. Williams did not even have the grace and decency to congratulate CEJ after his loss showing what type of mam he is a poor loser.

 

Or winning rounds, which he did. Chris only needed to earn two more rounds after the 4th to claim numerical victory, provided he stayed on his feet, but Williams ran him close on any fair scorecard. There was no outclassing in the bigger picture of the contest.

Was a terrible fight but wasn’t close at all and obviously only 1 winner

Surprised by Williams complete lack of power and chin.

Williams was supposed to be a banger but even though he landed some good shots they had no effect. On the other hand seemingly innocuous punches were wobbling him and dropping him.

Jr looked skinnier than he has ever been IMO.
Must have done a lot of cardio and zero weights

Williams looked a weight class bigger and he is a 154lber.

Speed was the difference in this one. Jr’s hands too fast. His foot work was better than ever IMO but he moved way too much and just tried to put shot. Did he ever throw more than a 3 or 4 punch combination?

I think scorecards of 117-109 are pretty conclusive. If you want to lie to yourself Williams ran him close that is on you. CEJ punished and humiliated Williams in front of his hometown crowd.

 

117-109 is the only correct scorecard for this fight.
