    Maybe MTK got involved and made him an offer he couldn't refuse, protecting Fury.

    Don King ruins Mike Tyson, now Lovejoy ... so many similarities between these two ... the unbeaten runs, the KO's, the premature downfalls.

    ...the charisma, the once in a generation talent, the household name recognition...

    I would say that Lovejoy is the second coming except that I am pretty sure they are the same age.

    Both had relatively short primes. Tyson, a few years in the mid to late 1980s .. Lovejoy, August 10 to 24 2018. I think it's safe to say that both were pretty much unbeatable during those periods.

    He was supposed to have his first somewhat legit fight against low level gatekeeper Allen (in which Allen was the favorite mind you), but that fell trough because he was under contract with Don King and wasn't free to fight. Then there were some other issues, and now he retires.
