His hat has his promoters name on it, doubt that beats have got any interest in a European level fighter, but feel free to prove me wrong. Think its just about creating a recognisable image than cash.

Am I jaded, or is it right that I expect much more from a title elimination match?

"George Groves can say whatever he wants but the fact of the matter is, at the end of the day, I'm going home to Rachael Cordingley."*

    *not an actual quote

the hat and clothing line is marketing for the product he sells (fights), naturally he also sells those atrocious caps and gg shirts also. he was wearing beats for the froch fights too, maybe thats where the association started and it has simply gone on - those were big fights in case u forgot

Maybe I missed it but what were the final punch stats again? Were they actually below 20%?

I think he just likes the headphones...t shirts and caps? A bit of pocket money for a family member maybe. This ain't TMT or south coast Mitsubishi

I heard Dre gives them a personalized set of top-end headgear for wearing them.
They did the same thing at the Olympics.

Despite looking to be in reasonable to good condition, Groves still needs to work on martialling his energy more evenly throughout a bout. He also needs to just stop wasting his power shots so needlessly. Rebrasse was not an especially slippery customer and, at times, Groves seemed to be intentionally throwing some of his most venomous shots at the air.

On the brighter side, the Groves jab was consistent, throughout, and he worked well behind this to convincingly win rounds, even in the last third of the fight. The jab was also enough to keep the not-so-inventive Rebrasse from really working what looked to be his limited armoury.

All-in-all, a solid, workmanlike performance from Groves, nonetheless highlighting a need for him to focus on shot-selection, timing and accuracy, as well as generally pacing himself better.
