Did anyone see her interview on the fight with Ted atlas and Kevin? Some gruesome stuff she been thru. I immediately watched the sentencing of dude who tried to murder her- he had zero remorse, held no accountability, gave zero shets, didn't give a eff. Ruthless emeffer. But ya, awesome story in victory.
Cristy came to the BMI gym in Ft Worth Texas when she was on the Mike Tyson card She looked like a fan not a fighter. But she went to get changed & spar a few. This guy sat next to me was with her . He was a tough looking dude with Mohawk haircut & tattoos I said " wheres the girl Christy's going to spar" He scowled & said " You calling me a girl"? "I'm her sparring partner" Well When they got in there they went 5 hard rounds neither was holding back. After I was over he said "well what dya think"? I said "I thought youd take it easy on her" He said "when her trainer first said he wanted me to spar with her I thought same thing" " Before I knew it she put me on my butt " lol That girl can fight
No but she is the female I used to like watching back in the day. Seems like a hundred years ago now, but they'd get her on the Pay per views. A real pioneer.
No didn't see it, but watched a documentary about her life this year and yeah she's had a crazy life. How the hell she survived being shot and stabbed multiple times and being left for dead is remarkable.
