It takes a lot out of you to lose 70 pounds: it's just incredible he manged it at all in this short space time.
Then you need to train for fitness, not diet, which again is a whole other matter.

The diet, vitamins, minerals, etc need to be perfect.
He got burned out and made the logical choice because he knows boxing ain't like tennis; you **** up it's your ass.
