Chuck Is Fighting Shogun In June In London

If it's the Chuck from the Silva fight and the Shogun from the Griffin fight...Chuck via KO.

As it is, I'm still pulling for Chuck via KO. Shogun isn't Shogun without stomps and soccer kicks.

 

Stomps and soccer kicks....thats why he was so much smaller.

 

Oh, I think he was on the juice in PRIDE, too....but even if he wasn't on steroids in Japan, the UFC ruleset cripples guys like him.

Octagon = no corners (see why Cro Cop sucks now)

Cage = easy to stand up (see Liddell sprawls)

No stomps/soccer kicks = if your opponent is down, you pretty much have to go down and grapple with him to do anything.

 

If Shogun is fighting in April I don't believe he'll fight again in June...that seems to close together for fights....i'll believe it when I see it.

Sherdog moderators think you're a bullshitting troll when you only have 1 post and you make a thread that claims 'insider' information on a fighter.

Not really. On his very first post he made a thread claiming something about a fighter with no source what so ever, now there are a tonne of numbnuts at sherdog so the mods probably just thought he was someones alt and was trolling.

Getting banned may seem harsh but there are 135,000 members over there so banning is a lot more liberal.

 

Its a pathetic forum anyway. I cant stand the dam place. I remember when Sherdog was just a basic site full of fights between skaters and vagrants. Now there the source for MMA. Amazing how times have changed.

 

Yeah, it does kind a suck, I had to register because I was compelled to correct some of the idiocy on there, I think they are making an effort to get it better though.

 

Forget about it. The idiocy is easy and free flowing on that board.

 

If true, Shogun is in for a face smashing. Chuck is the anti-Chute Boxe with his awkward counter striker style. I don't think Shogun can grapple **** him either, Chuck's TD defense is too good and he can stand up almost at will if he winds up on his ass.

 

The boxing forum on Sherdog is like the MMA forum on here, a small enclave of less stupid people than the general population.
