The stance and positioning of the guard for a oxing and an MMA match are naturally very different. This means Liddell would need a very different style in boxing but actually I dont rate him as being technically gifted as a striker in MMA, he is effective and has a good eye to throw the hook but the only reason that fight is devastating is the thin gloves, in boxing if he through that punch it would have zero impact and he would get brutally countered by a straight right. The hook that people use as a means to justify Liddell as having a chance in boxing gives him no chance at all!

Puts his money shot on David Hayes chin and that fkr is going down. That said, Liddell's cardio/conditioning isnt too good. His wide stance and low hands don't matter that much. Plenty champs have had wide stances - Nigel Benn springs to mind.

I don't even think so. Average boxing chin > great MMA chin.
