I read an article in yahoo sports about liddel dissing and making insults on kimbo slice. If ever the 2 got to fight who do you think gets it

I know so many people were on Chuck's nuts for years but I was never a fan. The guy has heavy hands but odd tech. Kimbo is a huge man. If he connected it would be lights out.

    Umm...

Chuck Lidell beat Tito Ortiz twice. Chuck Lidell beat Randy Couture twice. Chuck Lidell beat Babalu twice and most recently he beat Wanderlei Silva.

Kimbo slice has beaten a 50 year old pro boxer who had no business in the cage and Tank Abbott.

Id have to say that kimbo still does have a chance to win his mere size and power advantage could make the difference. Liddell is more of a striker so kimbo doesnt need to worry bout fighting on the ground. If it stays standing up then all he needs is one clean punch

I think Kimbo fares better than most give him credit for. Liddell has won too many fights on "shut my eyes and throw a hail mary" punches. If he gets caught first and/or if Kimbo can take his shot, Kimbo has a hell of a chance.

    Are people serious???

Kimbo will be lucky to last 2 minutes.

I'm tipping a Babalu head kick

Call me crazy but in a pure standup match I would take Kimbo. He has the better chin, power, and striking basics. Having said that, Chuck rarely goes for the takedown, and from all the times I've seen him shoot for it, he was ****.

I would really have to see Kimbo throw and defend from a headkick though.

Throw Kimbo in with a wrestler or a submission artist and he'd get destroyed flatout within a round.

The better chin? Because you've seen him punched by afro puff?

Chuck not having good takedowns? He took Silva down in his last fight much easier than Arona did in either of their two fights, or anybody else trying to take down Silva really.

    These are good points Beebs.

Still, I can not give away the premise that Kimbo is a better standup fighter than Chuck Lidell. Sure, Chuck may be able to take him down, but his record of very very REAL KO power against very very tough opposition stands in stark contrast to Kimbo's KOs of nobodies. Chuck can probably counter Kimbo all day and all night and either knock him out or win a dominant decision (in fairness, we don't know how well Kimbo can take a punch.)

Power is a funny thing, because it can only be accurately rated based on competition. In boxing for instance, Paul Williams had pretty good KO power, until he stepped up in class and everyone found out it was only mediocre. Sam Peter had AMAZING KO power until he stepped up in class and everyone found out he had a hard time KOing anybody.

Just because Kimbo destroys street punks, just because he destroys a terrible miserable Bo Cantrell and a way way past it was never that good in the first place anyways Tank Abbott does NOT mean he has the power or skills to pose a serious challenge to a very very good opponent in Chuck Lidell.

To call Chuck Lidell a step-up in competition is an insult to Chuck Lidell. Chuck Lidell is 3 floors up in competition, Kimbo has to take the elevator to get to Chuck Lidell.

I'm not a huge Chuck Lidell fan, but it is absolutely 100% clear to me that Chuck Lidell has nearly every single advantage in this fight. Don't buy into EliteXCs bull**** hypejob of Kimbo.

    Yes, cuz that's how a ***** eat.

The only reasons Chuck was able to take Silva down was because 1) Silva was gassed and 2) He wasn't expecting it.
