Which TUF participant will make this so called elite fighter look like a second rate turd again?

On a serious note with out TUF UFC would be boring, Rampage getting beat by one, Florian etc raising the bar.

I hate the drama of the show but the concept is to get new good fighters into the UFC, it is working.

Oh and Chuck is past his prime, his best days are far behind him. I'm not sure who has been telling you he is still an elite fighter

I never considered him elite, the commentators always tried to hype him, he is solid but very limited, against Jardine he looked like someone picked from a bar that never had a fight in his life, let alone a pro fighter.

His power is outstanding, and his ability to avoid a takedown during the era of the "wrestler" a few years ago made him hard to beat. But strikers have evolved to the point where they can take advantage of his sloppy stance and low left hand.

he was elite before that fight, he was already on that slippery slope down by then.

But Chuck, one could argue is the reason alot of the striking evolved, they had too.

They use to make out Chuck was some type of world champ kick boxer, his technique in that is flawed, if he was put in a mui thai fight with a real world champ like Nathan corbett, chuck would get blasted out in in the 1st minute.

Huh...No. He may have achieved a few things as a kickboxer but as far as "world champ" is concerned...No. Never.

Like i said i know he didn't but in the early days the Commentators use to try and market him as something like one.

Oh ok...But yeah...I mean...Chuck doesn't even fight like a kickboxer anyway. .I've never seen a guy fighting like this...(he never or rarely ever uses his kicks...to the point where even your average mma fighter has a higher % low kick ratio)...

Chuck vs LeBanner or Aerts.. = murder

that's very accurate, he could beat wrestlers that couldn't strike because he is an above average striker. but against anybody who could read his stance and unorthadox style...he was fair game......and lately the coin hasn't flipped his way.

If you watch the replay chuck was standing directly in front of Rashad at perfect punch distance which he usually doesn't do......It was like Rashad hit a punching bag at full force. chuck got very sloppy and paid the price.

I noticed that, actually. Also, he was going for the kill way too early, he should have waited longer. His game plan in the first round was working great for him and the way Rashad was moving he would have burnt himself out late 2nd and Chuck could have had him in the 3rd.

I am a huge Chuck fan and I was a little disappointed, but Evans really proved himself last night.

Chuck has wins over great fighters. He beat Silva who still had enough to destroy Jardine. He beat the current HW champion of the UFC twice. He destroyed Tito back when Tito meant something. He beat Babalu twice, Belfort and Randleman.

Just because he is at the end of his career doesn't mean he was "never that good in the first place."
