Besides the fact that Liston was pulling his punches telling his corner he was afraid to keep hitting the guy. :-(

Norton said in a recent radio interview that Foreman and Shavers both hit about the same.

If at all possible, I'd prefer to avoid taking a flush one from Foreman, Liston or Shavers with about equal prejudice.

So did Bugner. Wepner was stopped a lot of times, on cuts, but few ever actually knocked him out.

I don't know if it was exactly a "blowout", the Foreman-Wepner bout..I believe it was of the technical variety via a cut eye, stopped in the 3rd and there was a controversial "knockdown" of George Foreman in the 2nd round. This was in '69 I believe.

Man saves massive crocodile, i think it was tangled in netting.

Man can now swim with the said massive croc and hand feed it on the rivers edges.

Incredible. I really did not think a croc could be tamed to this extent. Their brain is the size of a matchbox from memory.

I remember a guy 20 odd years ago in my own state here had one for years in an enclosure and the minute he overextended feeding it his arm was torn clean off. He had the conscious choice of going with the death roll (on land) and getting dragged into the water and killed or staying upright and having his arm separated from his body.

How could this guy above ever be 100% sure today wasn't the day? :blood

That is absolutley incredible. In fact, it's an emotional response, isn't it?

I seen many of Chuck Wepners fights and I have to say it was because he was on the undercard not because he was exciting, he was not. As a person I like Chuck but I happened to see his fight vs Randy Neumann and they were terrible, 2 big men with zero power and speed Chuck Wepner was a big, easy to hit guy with zero power and tissue skin. He did fight a more skilled and experienced Liston and Chuck got a clubbing from both men. What is more powerful a 380cal or a 9mm, not so sure you could tell me if you took one to the temple

Sonny wins the vote! More than he would have done in real life.
