It looks like he tore the bicep femoris off the bone at the hip insertion point. That can be a career ender if the surgery, which is very tricky, doesn't go perfect.

This is a shame. Especially at Chuck's age. His days are numbered anyways, and this ain't gonna help at all. Bummer.

Us in Britain usually get the shows from America free and the shows held in Britain at a price.

Ortiz is already sceduled with machida so that is highly unlikely. i just want to see shad in the ring who is going to cut him to pieces.

    Yep. I know.

Who is open for that fight? I can not think of many fighters who could come in and top line that card.

me neither. there are not big names left. that's why they'd have to find a new main event for that card altogether

How about Wanderlei Silva vs Evans or a rematch with Stephan Bonnar against Evans???

That's really disappointing- the Liddel-Evans fight would've been good.

And although the division is fantastic, I can't really think of a good replacement for Evans.

Silva is scheduled to fight Jardine, bonnar has a knee injury is out for a few more monthes at least. Evans is fighting James irvin.

Matt Hughes and Thiago Alves are the new main event for UFC 85 which should be a good fight.
