IIRC that loss is considered quite controversial in South Korea. Local fighter Navarrette got dropped in the last minute of a round, and they rang the bell early, preventing Choi from following up. His next title shot, linked to above, saw him looking good too. It didn't go long enough to rank up there with the all-time great comebacks, but Choi won just about every second of his fight with Limon until he got crumpled up by a couple of body shots in the seventh(?) round. Very talented, very flawed, very exciting fighter who twice put himself in good position to become a champion.
That fight between Navarrete and Choi was insane. Great comeback win. I do recall there was a bit of controversy regarding the 11th round but still a crazy bout.
