Look the reality is that Andre Ward has been a pro boxer for merely 10 years. And the first 5 years he faced nothing but low level competition/bums. Before the Supa Six his toughest challenge and best win was Edison Miranda, whom he went life and death with! The Super Six arrives and he beats a faded Kessler who has no idea how to fight in clinches. Then its a blown up B level middleweight in Abe. Not hard to beat. Froch was his best win but a sh!t fight in general. Dawson fight was what it was. A lot of people like to see weight drained, malnourished boxers get battered around. And that's about where his career is at now. I mean do we really need to talk about Rodriguez and Smith? Those fights don't mean anything.
Ward needs to take PEDs and hide in Oakland to preserve his glass chin, which is a problem DeGale doesn't have in fairness
Ward and Dirrell would never fight each other either as they are 'brothers' perhaps more so than vitali and wladmir klitchko. So MBE Degale had to go to dirrells backyard and give him a thorough schooling with 2 beautiful knockdowns that ward wouldn't be able to provide.
Chunky has gone up so so much in my estimation last couple of years. He is a breath of fresh air in the division and baaaxing as a whole.
Yep. There is a good article on the scene which describes the differences between DeGale two years ago when he had depression to now.
