Chuvalo could be stopped as Foreman and Frazier both proved. But Oliver McCall doesn't have the power or tenacity to force the issue. George was busier in his fights and possibly had better boxing skills. I'm leaning towards Chuvalo in a close hard fought decision.

Yeah Chuvalo is the better fighter, not sure why I thought up such an un-interesting match up though :think :D.

If the Crude Oscar Bonavena could squeak past George i have little doubt that the slightly more refined Atomic Bull has the ability to do so as well, but i would have serious doubts that he would have the resoluteness to maintain a winning formula, the less complicated George probably just gets on with the Job Good Bad and Ugly.. and gets his hand raised at the end as a result, close but George can get the nod sown up in the last quarter.

Depends on which McCall shows up. I would slightly favor McCall via decision.

McCall, he was bigger, stronger, hit harder, and had a better chin. Id go with Oliver. Chuvalo lost every time he stepped up with two exceptions 1. Doug Jones who was smaller and fading and Quarry which was a total fluke and which he lost every round and had his face pounded into hamburger. Hes not knocking McCall out with some lucky hail mary. Not that McCall is a huge step up in class but it didnt take a big step up to beat Chuvalo. He lost to C level fighters during several phases of his career including his prime. For two supposed iron chinned bangers I think this would be a boring fight. Both guys could coast and be inactive and I think they would make one of Teddy Atlas' "secret handshakes" to not take chances and just leave it up to the judges.
