Ron Howard has decided to cash in further on the Cinderella man franchise by producing two sequels.

In Cinderella man I Jimmy Braddock defeats Max Baer who is the Apollo Creed of the series.

Cinderella man II focuses on Jimmy Braddocks fight against Joe Louis who is the Clubber Lang figure. It might be necesary to change the outcome.

Cinderella man III focuses on his fight with Tommy Farr who is the British inteloper and Ivan Drago figure. Alternativley if we have him beating Louis it could be a title defence against Max Schmeling.

There are also plans for "The harder they fall II", which sees Torro Moreno revising his strategy and coming back to beat Buddy Brannan in the rematch.

Good, I hate to see them rewrite history with Braddock beating Louis.

Ron Howard, Opie, more appropriately named, is a sorry little lying **** of a movie director, who besmirched Max Baer's name and reputation in that first forgettable movie, which by the way, is nowhere as good as the book of the same name written by Jeremy Schapp, who was accurate and truthful in his narrative of the lives and personalities of both Baer and Braddock and conveyed an atmospheric sense of the times in which they lived, and in short, wrote the consumate book on the subject of the great upset that was the story of the real Cinderella Man. I recommend it to everyone who's interested.

The harder they fall was worse.

That film sealed the idea that Carnera was a manufactured champion.

He actualy did all the legwork to become champion, often creativley.
