Broken neck and brain bleed, according to reports. A real shocking outcome for a gallant boxer, doing his best despite overwhelming odds. These sanctioning bodies are responsible for this, with their ludicrous mandatories of challengers with questionable credentials. A few months ago Opetia did some serious damage to another overmatched challenger.
It’ll never happen, but a proper governing body, is long overdue. The current 4 “world” alphabet gangs, should be fully investigated, before more boxers are severely damaged in the worst possible way.

Man and cinkara did a really good job considering whom he was up against. He had lost his posture for many rounds and seemed exhausted by the time he was hit. Still he was able for the longest time to avoid opetaias shots.
Let's be honest as a cruiser I would swerve opetaia with his track record...

Though cinkara was able to stand or at least sit upright, so hoping for the very best.

I didn't know him beforehand but apparently he was an ok challenger? At least he did really well. All the best to him!

 

I hope he recovers well. It's never a good thing to see a boxer seriously hurt like this.

Davey Moore, died from a rebounding bottom rope on his neck, I recall, against Sugar Ramos in ‘ 63. Think the 4 ropes came in regularly after that.
Although 4 ropes were used in the 1908 Johnson-Burns fight.

 

Cinkara is a strong and brave fighter, he will pull through and I wish him all the best...
