Is there a stadium big enough? Wait I know, we can hold it outdoors! Kermit vs The Poof! Live on PPV!!
I dunno, it looked to me like there was something wrong with his hand for a good portion of the fight. markbrookly is just an *******, ignore him.
Even in the round by round people were saying that he slowed down in the 3rd round or so. Some said he punched himself out. Its not that implausible that he hurt a hand.
For you dumbasses desperately trying to make excuses for Cintron: "Did he or did he not have FULL USE of his hand throughout the fight?" And did he or did he not just get embarassed by Feliciano? Hehehe. Amazing the lengths ****s will go through to defend a fighter.
I wouldn't say he got embarrased, he did TKO Feliciano. Jesse is a tough kid, I said it'd be a tough fight... why people are surprised at this is beyond me, maybe they've never seen Jesse fight before and just looked at his record and assumed. I guess a TKO isn't good anymore?
I don't think he got embarrassed either. Knowing what I know of Feliciano, he gets small and can be hard to hit. Look at his fight against Delvin Rodriguez. Rangy guys who throw with power will always have trouble with small guys who get even smaller and work inside. I'll have to watch it to see for myself. I know from a few Cintron fights notably the Estrada fight that this probably looked like that one. Dunno. But he still TKO'd the guy. How is that an embarrassment. Did Feliciano hurt Cintron at all during the fight?
Nice try, dip****. Cintron was something like a 20 to 1 favorite. If you bet on him to win by KO, you didn't even come CLOSE to winning your full bet. He was supposed to walk through this 15-5, 15th ranked fighter at around the end of the first round. Instead he was made to look IMPOTENT until the very end of the fight when Jesse finally gassed out. Cintron's business value just took a DIVE.
I generally dont respond to posters with cartoons in their avatars, but here we go anyways... You obviously dont watch much boxing. After boxing for a few rounds with a broken hand, fighters will often begin throwing it again. See Gatti vs Ward II if you need evidence. Nobody is making excuses for Cintron. I dont give a **** about Cintron. I challenged that other tool Markinwhateverthe**** to find a post of mine which hyped Cintron. He wont and you wont either, so spare us with the excuse bull****.
This is what I mean, you're being blinded by emotion. I, for one, am COMPLETELY objective when it comes to this fight. Cintron got beat badly by a fighter I loathe, don't respect, and don't consider anywhere near elite. So he's had to prove himself in my eyes. I liked his stoppage over Matthyse, and I've liked the clips I've seen of him online. On the other hand, Feliciano was a god damn lion tonight, and would not be denied, and definitely made me a fan. Not to mention, there's some credence to what the commentators said, that his crappy record belies competitive performances against good opposition in a short career that's been anything but soft. Going 1-1-1 with Gomez is respectable...as was stopping heralded prospect Rodriguez. This fight made me believe Feliciano is a tough SOB. It didn't make me believe he's the better fighter than Cintron (though from certain rounds tonight you might've almost thought that). As an OBJECTIVE analyst, you have to think that something was askew. I'm not saying the hand injury is the definitive answer to what that was - but it's an answer, the only one available so far, and it makes sense. As far as Cintron using the hand, he threw bombs likely out of desperation not wanting to lose his title to a twenty-to-one underdog. Most of his power punches were shorter combinations. Everybody doing RbRs agreed that Feliciano controlled most of the round, and then Cintron would come alive and try desperately to end it with power shots. That's all in line with a the behavior of an injured fighter.
The cartoon in my avatar would beat Cintron. :yep Again, Cintron had FULL USE of his hand throughout the entire fight and THIS is the point that any honest peron would be making. I WILL have the last word on everything! :good
Ok, but for the last time... Im not saying that he did or did not hurt his hand. Im only arguing that its ridiculous to act as if we can be sure that he did not hurt his hand.
