Cintron is right. For one shot power Cotto and Judah can bang harder than Margo. It's just that Margo's style and stamina breaks you down eventully instead of blowing you out in one punch.

Who gives a **** if he's not. Boxing isn't a contest for the heaviest hitters. Cintron IS one of the biggest hitters @ 147 and we see how that's worked for him.

In that regard - I would have to agree. margarito is not likely to KO anyone with one single punch - but when he puts his combinations together - it mows his opponents down.

you guys are dumb, Cintron is right. Margarito does pack a powerful punch I am sure... but his style is to wear you down mentally and physically and then stop you... Magarito's best attributes are his Chin, Stamina and Will. ( and size)

Margos power isn't that great i don't see what the big deal is. It's all accumulative. He is too sloppy to have true KO power.

If Cintron says so, I guess he would know since he has been hit by EVERY punch Marg threw at him

Margarito may not have one punch KO power, but his punches must have above-average power. If not, why wouldn't they stand with him and trade? It's when Margarito has them pinned on the ropes is when he unleashes his power, which can definitely KO anyone if he catches them right.

Yep, and no offense to Cotto, but he's a guy who still hasn't learned that lesson 33 fights into a pro career.

If Cintron was actually saying Marg isn't *heavy* handed he's full of crap obviously. I never got to see the fight, but didn't he KO Cintron like within 3-4 rounds in the first fight, and like 5 rounds the second fight?! After 3-4 rounds most fighters would getting very warmed up....They shouldn't be going down hill, and mentally/ physichally burning out. What I'm trying to say is going by Cintron's logic of marg not having heavy hands, and he ONLY beat on you for 3 rounds (not 11 like he did Cotto) then you shouldn't go down unless you have one of the worst chins in boxing. Hell, half the time Marg is a very slow starter, and doesn't start putting the pressure on til round 4-6. He couldn't even last long enough for Marg to really shift to the next gear!!!

I'll agree marg doesn't have one punch KO power. He does acculimative damage, but to say he doesn't have heavy hands is just ******ed. I don't see how he's not "one of the biggest punchers at 147" considering all his KO wins against top quality opponents, the fact he's one of the biggest WW that step in the ring, etc. I agree that Cintron should know first hand, and better than I do.....but it just doesn't make sense whenever a guy whom usually starts out slow knocks you out within 5, and he's not a hard hitter...What's that saying for you?

cintron is full of ****. he was turning his back as early as the 2 nd round, begging the ref for relief. so instead of margo ko'ing him staight out. because he has no ko power? margo beat the **** out of cintron for an other 4 rounds. cintron was wishing to get ko'ed fast b/c he was talking a ass whipping

Berto, Cotto, PTP, and Cintron himself all come to mind immediately as bigger punchers than Tony. He's probably next on the list tho.

He might not be the biggest puncher BUT he punches hard ENOUGH!
