    Then why'd he get KO'ed? That body punch in their last fight probably caused kermit to **** his pants.

    He didn't say he didn't hit hard. He said he's not one of the big hitters in the division. There's a difference.

    You think Berto, Cotto, and Williams hit harder than Margarito? Damn, I don't, but we all have our own view.

    Obviously Cintron is talking from his personal experience, but I don't buy his theory since he hasn't really faced any of the top hitters to compare Margo to.

    I don't agree regarding Cotto, he's waaaay more of an accumulation puncher than Margarito. Cotto has done his damage over the years by loading up on every punch, and hitting opponents in the body over and over. Alot of his stoppages have come from opponents taking knees and quitting on the stool after tons of leather has been landed. Cotto isn't capable of blitzing opponents in 1 or 2 rounds the way that Margarito is. If you send a can in with Margarito he will take them out in a heartbeat. If you send a can in with Cotto he'll have to hit them in the mid section and back 200 times before it's over. Margarito is a bigger puncher than Cotto. Easy. Hands down.

    I find this comparison hard cause Margo's punches are real sloppy a lot of the time and Cotto's are precise.

    I will say that if Cotto had the punches landed on himself that he was landing on Margo he definitely would have been out of there before the 11th.

    Though in terms of when a punch lands flush, which is more powerful, Margo probably takes it.

    Precision has nothing to do with the subject. A .22 is easier to shoot straight than a .357. But that also has nothing to do with the subject. We agree that Margarito is the heavier hitter.

    Margarito doesn't have the hardest punch at 147, but one of the hardest and has the best chin by far. Margarito is a lot like that swimmer Phelps. He has a plan, breaks his opponent's will and wins everytime. Margarito always wearing the gold.

    Margo isnt a big puncher. You would be hard pressed to find a fight were he took a guy out with one shot, or even a combo. Its usually and lot of shots. Perfect example of that is his fight with Andrew Lewis. Margo hit the guy with 700 punches in two rounds and couldnt even get a KO. Wildman Mayorga pretty much stopped Lewis with one shot. tony Diaz took a beatting from Margo and the fight was stopped, Mosley waxed Diaz with ONE shot.

    No he isnt a big puncher, but he is enough of a puncher to get respect, its just that he doesnt stop throwing, he is like rock'm sock'm robots with a ADD Kid on a six pack of redbull:rofl
