Cintron: Margarito will stop Cotto

We will see. I personally don't think Margarito will KO Cotto. Cotto doesn't crumble under pressure and is a better brawler and boxer than Kermit Cintron is. This will be a good fight, but I will go with Cotto by UD.

He doesn't have the credibility to predict fights. He himself couldn't do what comes out of his mouth.

 

I think Cintron's absolutely right. Cotto was getting wobbled by Jr. Welters. Margo will be too much for him.

 

He has been with Margo but never with Cotto. Cintron is a one hand fighter. He spent more time getting his head beween his legs than throwing punches. Now he is just crying. Margarito stopping Cotto??? Well, thats always a possibility. But I don't think so

 

He's everything we've been saying for a long time now. Barely losing on points to a 6'2" southpaw in Paul Williams isn't going to detract from that.

Cotto is orthodox and Cotto will be in front of Margo to do his damage. He has to be for his size and style. Cintron makes a good point in saying that he hit Margo with everything he had. He did so twice. So he knows Margo can take a punch.

Now obviously Cotto will land easier inside than Cintron did. But overall Margo should have no issues taking it. He's been hit by bigger stronger men already. If anything you have to be concerned with Cotto's chin because once those fists start to fly anything can happen.

i have seen Cotto end fights with a single body shot... but anyways i think Cintron is entitled to his opinion wether most agree with him or not. I think Cotto is in for a rough fight agaisnt Margo, but i think Margarito will be in a tougher fight than Cotto... just my two cents

 

well he is hoping margo ko'es cotto so that he could make a solid case that he got his ass handed to him by the #1 welterweight in the world, hoping it would be margo. what a loser!

 

If cintron were a "*****" like Mark claims, he wouldn't of got in the ring for a 2nd Margo ass whooping. I do understand the point though. Even though he says he wants Cotto to win I think deep down, he is hoping Margo will win so he wont look like a hyped up fighter. I don't feel cintron is a hyped fighter, just a mentaly weak one. but he probably feels the public might see him as such.

You must've fast forwarded through cotto-quintana. Cotto didn't land enough body shots to have broken down Quintana. That was a one-shot KO that would have dropped Quintana in the 1st, 5th, or 12th round.

 

If I was a Margarito fan this is the last fight I would want to see him in. Cotto is going to ruin him, plain and simple. He's not anywhere near Cotto's league, he will not be able to trouble him with anything, and he's going to get a beating of a lifetime. Cotto TKO 9. If it somehow goes the distance, Margarito's face will look like it got ran over by a truck.
