Cintron: Margarito will stop Cotto

I will not be surprised, at all, if Margarito stops Cotto.

Well like I said thats what this site is for anyone and everyone can exspress, and say what ever they feel... Like they say, opinions

if there is a stoppage in the margarito-cotto fight it will be cotto thats stopped in my opinion

 

The Margarito fight is make or break for Cotto in my view. He will be going in there against a guy who is known for his durability and relentless pressure. Margarito looked transformed against Cintron and I'm very eager to see if Cotto can hurt Margarito, knowing Cintron's power.

If Cotto overcomes Margarito, he surely has to enter the Top 3 P4P?

 

This will be the first time Cotto will be in there with a fighter who has
K.O. Stoppage power. Also remember than Miguel is fighting a natural bigger fighter. If it becomes a boxing contest (which I think it will, with Cotto slicking and more movement than we have ever seen from him)
his respect for margo's power will be evident. I'd like to know what happens when Tony get's hit with Cotto's shot's?
We all know (Even tho he's being bashed all over this forum) if there is one thing Kermit could do that is "Crack/Punch" with the best of them & Margo took Cintron's best shot's like an average fighter takes a jab.

it's sour grapes. cotto is a whole different animal...he doesn't rely on the haymaker...Miguel systematically breaks fighters down...until they quit or ref stoppage.

 

Funny, but Mosley and Judah has KO power...and couldn't dent Cotto. Like I said before Cotto doesn't rely on the one punch KO...he systematically beats his opponents to a bloody mess....and there's nobody more stationary than margo...that guy is a human punching bag. Cotto destoy the faces of mobile boxers like Paulie and Judah...Just imaging what Margo is gonna look like after the fight.:yep

 

this is the fight that i have always felt was the hardest for cotto in this division. margarito will be right in front of him the entire fight, and will not take any steps backward. cotto needs to rely on his boxing skills, and use angles. because if he attempts to trade with tony, he may come out on the short end. while i believe that cotto can break almost anyone down with his body attack, margarito is one tough cookie.

that being said. even if cintron's prediction comes to fruition, it still wouldn't reflect favorably on cintron, since unlike himself, cotto has shown resilience in the face of adversity, and will fight back. cintron on the other hand sees adversity and folds.

 

Cintron would have more credibility if he hadn't struggled so much against Feliciano
