you cant tell me with a straight face that you would have taken any damage what so ever from that "fall" he took. there was a HD video on YT that got taken down that showed muscle strain in his left calf before lift off showing he pushed off that foot to jump. he was literally caught before he even hit the ground. Cintron has a LONG track record of giving in when the going gets tough and even though it was early the fight was picking up for sure.
In real time at first glance it did look to me like the nutjob could've stopped his forward momentum but then decided to fling his body out of the ring. I'm not sure why he would do it, but it looked that way to me... although durng the slow-mo replays it looked as if he might've tripped or something. So I can't say for sure what the **** happened there. :huh
So you're basically saying the man is somewhat deranged. I can go with that. But I thought that he did trip on PW's leg just when the falling sequence begins, which made him go forward. You mean that HBO basically told the judges how to score it?
I can't and I won't. What I do believe is that, given Cintron is proved to be mentally weak, he was stunned by the fall and then he was scared that he might have sustained some damage. But this is exactly my point. Things were not tough in any way when Cintron ended up out of the ring. He was in absolutely no trouble when that happened. And don't tell me that a couple of punches landed by Williams suddenly made the guy go nuts. It doesn't make sense at all. The fact that Cintron is mentally weak explains his behaviour after the fall, not before it.
Cintron fell out people, get over it. As much as Cintron whines I think fans :| whine more. I can't believe all the conspiracy theories people put out there. Makes me think people watch too many god damn movies and never lived life. People can't make split second decision like that and think the consequences through. He probably hoped to catch his balance. I've seen people fall and have falls myself which look counter-intuitive because people were just trying to catch their balance and it ends up making the situation worse. I read the posts from Cintron's ex trainer and I'm sure he probably is a *****, but I'm sure if we actually sat down with the boxer's we wouldn't like at least half of them. I've trained with and met fighters and I like some and didn't like others. Seriously who cares. The fans on here remind me of women gossiping over movie stars. I watch boxing for the boxing and movies for the movies, who gives a crap about people we most likely won't meet. By the way the fight should be ruled a NC, not enough rounds to make a decision because fighters up their ante as the fight heats up. Paul probably would of took it though. Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch if Cintron makes a comeback first. Paul on the other hand has bigger frog legs to fry.
Honestly bro i dont think its the jump itself that is making people feel salty but more so that it was a light ass fall from basically 2 feet and he was caught by the announcers before he hit the ground, he then rolled on the ground deliberately had 5 mins to get up and laid there like he was paralyzed . this guy is suppose to be a boxer, a warrior, a gladiator but time and time again he shows he is far from that. so in the end your right he most likely didnt jump out on purpose but there in no doubt in my mind from watching past cintron fights that he saw that as a opportunity to bail from the fight early/take no damage and hey maybe even win the bull**** Decision. i can only thank the boxing gods that this clown didnt get the win.
I'm not saying he's crazy. I'm saying he's a damn idiot. He did trip. The same reason he was sent forward was the same reason Williams went down. But why ? Oh why!?! Would you leap through the ropes!?! Because he is a ****in tool. Period. As far as the score cards go. Yup. That was an executive decision in my eyes. He won two rounds without doubt. And the forth round was looking good for him since the trip occured because Williams got popped and was still getting his legs back. I think the powers that be are just fed up with this guy and his bull****. Is it fair? No. But boxing is as bout as fair as tysons **** conviction.
I think Cintron intentionally jumped threw the ropes however I don't think he did it as a way to manufacture escape route from the fight like some seem to believe. I just think it was Kermit's instinctive reflex to jump as he lost his balance while headed towards the ropes. It doesn't however dismiss him of any criticism as such a display of ineptitude deserves to be ridiculed.
Very well put. And yes, this fight should definitely be ruled a NC. LMAO Yeah when I saw him go down and lay there I thought 'he must be hurt', but after a while you could see he wasn't. I seriously don't know what was in Cintron's mind at the time, but I don't think he had planned or thought any of it. I honestly think that at first he thought 'damn what happened just now' and he was confused and a little scared that he might have sustained an injury. He defo looks like a puzzled kid at times. I'm not convinced on that one and if you think about it for a while, it shouldn't cover you either. So you mean Cintron actually had in mind that it was the 4th round, that he probably won at least two rounds, and by the Cali rules the fight would go to the scorecards, so he could get the decision? And he thought all of this at the time? I don't buy it. Yes he had trouble in past fights, but he never just quit for no reason. In the Margo fights he took a beating, and in the Martinez fight he got hurt by that punch. So, he had reasons to act funny in those fights. But he never acted for absolutely no reason before like he did yesterday, so I don't see why some of you guys are convinced he took the easy way out, when in reality what you suggest has never happened before.
Good points. I've seen it happen too. This mentality could explain his behaviour after the fall. But again, what you just posted explains what Cintron did after the fall, it doesn't explain why he would just jump out of the ring. But I think that some guys already gave some good explanations as to how it (the fall itself) happened.
:think Don't know what to make of your question. How could making it out of the ring be considered anything but when the fighter jumps out on his own accord? Or were you just being sarcastic?
:rofl I have a feeling that you may very well be spot on. If that's the case, it's not fair by any means, but what can you do. ****, I really wanted to see how this fight would play out. Oh well.
