im pickin cintron this time.. although margarito has his number, you just cannot ignore cintron's power as well. odds favor margarito i guess, but in my opinion, cintron's a better and more improved fighter now(after 5 straight Ws).
I have a feeling it will be a more competitive fight this time around, but a similar result in the much later rds.
I'm pickin' Kermit to get his revenge. But the only drawback that could cause him to lose again is the fact that Manny Steward is in his corner.
Someone wrote another thread saying that Manny was an overrated trainer. They mentioned that none of Manny's fighters are able to fight on the inside very well. If this is indeed true for themost part, then Kermit better be careful. B/c margarito is going to bring it. I want kermit to win, but I really cant call this fight. Here's a try. Margarito will win by unanimous decision.
Im not a fan of either but i believe Cintron will be on the canvas crying once more. Cintron is soft, Margarito will be on him like white on rice all night and Cintron will fold under the pressure.
As hard as Cintron hit, he could not put Feliciano away, until the later rounds. Margarito chin is good as anybody in the welterweight division, probably the Jr. middlweight division as well. Plus Margarito packs a pretty good wallop, he is a pressure figther like Feliciano, put the difference is he is much bigger and stronger. Maragrito is like Feliciano on steroids, plus Margarito has the psychological edge from the first fright when he dropped Cintron 5 times. I expect this fight to go longer, with the same result.
You also cant ignore his hand problems. And his last five wins have been over cab drivers. Mark Suarez? Mattysse was the only half good fighter he has beat and he was already whipped by Paul Williams before the Cintron fight. I this will be a good fight but I have Margarito TKO 7
in their first fight, i thought cintron was affected by the body shots of margarito and that made him become tentative. add the fact that he was already throwing his best shots and, seems to me, margarito absorbed it well. He got so bothered by these that he went on to fight his own game plan and not listen to manny. He was able to get up a couple of times after each knockdown but just gave up as he clearly lost his heart by then. His lack of experience became pretty telling... This is the one chance that he gets to redeem himself and i hope he prepares well for this.. ...and it doesn't get better than this...
If Cintron doesn't go mental then he should win this fight.....but he is mentally weak and im not sure if he can hold it together when he gets taken into deep water
My vision of the fight: Manny: Kermit, I TOLD YOU TO CLINCH!!!! Kermit: Everytime I clinch he throws uppercuts. Manny: CLINCH DAMNIT! CLINCH!!! ..................
